Review of Land of the Lost (2009) by Henry P — 29 Jun 2012
Based on the 1970s TV show I've seen a few episodes of, I have to say Land of the Lost is a fun experience. You've got Dr. Rick Marshall, a scientest laughed out because of his theories, a fangirl of his, Holly, who was laughed out of Cambridge, and some trashy jerk-off from the desert, Will, all of which have the names of the characters from the show.
There were a lot of laughs, and some memorable moments, and even a T-Rex (Where have we seen that before?). Overall, Land of the Lost is a fun dinosaur/comedy movie. However, it is no Jurassic Park substitute, and belongs in the comedy section.
