Review of Land of the Lost (2009) by Kristi H — 13 Sep 2012
Land of the Lost (2009).
Directed by: Brad Silberling.
PG-13, 1 hr. 42 min.
Release Date: June 5, 2009.
Def for the simpletons, soo redikk; sarcastic, idiotic, blunt, crass, p.o.v., Land of the Lost has it all.
As stupid a take on sci-fi as ever, led by Darrell Farrel (Dr Rick Marshall), a scientific nerd working on time warp theories ..or something. Anyway a little laughter, these guys are off on an adventure to suit ..well any adolescent of the age that's "put whatever on, I don't give a shit" elite group of individuals. It`s a strange feeling of comedy, a multi cultural level I think, I`m even sure of but is that ..stupid, still partly a funny feeling, you want to laugh when it just wont crack feeling. A super technical comedic psychology, tho wow it`s dumb. It ticks all the boxes in anyone's book i`m that sure of.
