Review of Land of the Dead (2005) by Andrew W — 16 May 2010
This chapter in the "Dead" Saga, follows up on the concept from Day of the Dead, that the undead have the ability of intelligent thought. Zombies around the city known as Fiddler's Green start display actions and activity from their past before they became part of the undead horde.
The zombies gather and head towards the city, while one of the "soilders" attempts a terrorist attack with the cities ultimate weapon, a anti-zombie tank called "Dead Reckoning". I still find it hard to believe that the zombies could banned together and push back the military the way they did.
My complaint is that this movie seems more like a action movie with zombies, than a horror movie with zombies...but it is still a good installment in the series.
