Review of Land of the Dead (2005) by Harvey E — 26 May 2009
Terribly disappointing movie and the fact that it was backed by a studio makes it even worse. Storyline was poor and CGI wasn't used wisely nor convincingly. Acting was just terrible and inexcusable for Hopper, Leguizamo, and Baker.
This should have been an incredible return to zombie film making for Romero but sadly fell short. Mr. Romero eventually redeemed himself with "Diary of the Dead" and guess what? It is an independent film.
