Review of Land of the Dead (2005) by Alec B — 15 Apr 2014
For 20 minutes, utterly pointless and stale, even pityfull, then it gets a bit of substance, then reveals itself as not good but utterly depressing in a meaningful way but still stupidly written (stillborn ideas and undershaped threads).
Theres a story in there but bad execution keeps killing it until its dead for real. Directors; please stop trying to be funny unless it actually is funny. PS; lil kudo to Asia Argento; she got rythm and good action lead till she snoozes and gets leaden.
. Hard work? gimme a break.. BTW; any social commentary that much badly put looses all potency so I hope it wast Romero's goal because tis an epic fail.
