One of the best things about cinema is when someone makes a movie about the most oddball topic and it turns out to be interesting.

Land Ho is not a great movie and I will probably forget about it by end of next week but while I watched I found it interesting, sweet and charming.

This is the story about two single old timers that spend some time in Iceland just trying to get their groove back. They are not very wealthy or powerful nor are they totally crazy. They are two regular men who's lives are at dusk and still have some spunk to get out and have fun.

The movie is interesting because it's a bout normal people. There's nothing special about these men. They are just two regular dudes. Perhaps that's also the biggest weakness since at times they are just not interesting enough.

Towards the end the film is just a bit underwhelming and ends rather abruptly. This is the perfect movie to take your aging mom/grandma/aunt as they will leave with a smile on their face.
