Review of Lakeview Terrace (2008) by Mark B — 01 Aug 2009
This is a captivating pulse beating drama that doesn?t give up. Oh wait it does, for the entire 35 minutes in the middle. It does however manage to build tension that entire time. The beginning starts of rather simply and seems to build to what can only be described as a clique filled predictable ending.
Just one tiny problem the climax is neither simple nor foreseeable. The mile a minute finale can not be described in mere words it must be seen to enjoy. When is seen this fiaalle is It is captivating and adrenaline pumping. Worthy of knocking up my letter grade an entire level.
The acting is well done and appropriate for the given genre. It is after all an action flick. It will not receive any Oscars nor will it even be nominated. As in such it shouldn?t be messed with. It is wonderful as it is and as you many know why mess with a sure thing.
A sure thing it is. There are 5 holds at the source on the two DVD?s I attained this movie from. That source is the Radnor Library. Make note my friend that at this Delaware County Library (unlike the Chester County library only a mile away) the movies are free. Free is always good when you have no car and walk to two jobs. This review is also free it costs you no money to read. The best things in life are free like friends, families and discovering new fans amongst those sources. Like I did tonight. Hi Josh.
