Review of Lakeview Terrace (2008) by Imgonnaget S — 31 Mar 2010
This movie was semi interesting. Samuel L. Jackson plays his typical domineering and stern character, as he does in the movie SWAT, pulp fiction and many others. The rest of the cast puts on a mediocre performance.
The plot in essence is similar to the plot of disturbia (two neighbors engage in conflict because one is neighbor is a lunatic). The fact that jackson is a cop adds a sense of helplessness to the couple and to the audience.
It does have some good suspense, however the ending is disappointing as it could have been much better. Overall a semi-entertaining film but nothing special.
