Review of Lake Placid (1999) by Jason C — 01 Mar 2010
This is one horror movie me and my mother both liked. She saw it and liked it and had me watch it and now it is on my top ten favorites of all time. Lake Placid is hugely cheesy and badly acted, but there is something about this movie that reminds me of camp-fire ghost stories.
I truly enjoyed that it was in a lake in Maine. The old woman who fed the croc (killing her husband to) was hilarious. In general, this is one of those movies that you secretly watch on sunday nights just to take the edge off for monday.
It makes my all time list, because it is simply a good, cheesy horror flick about a crocodile in Maine...can you ask for more?
