Review of Lake Placid (1999) by Josh G — 27 Apr 2012

The Movie was a good, but somewhat decent comedy/horror movie. It had some great acting (especially from Betty White, from her nutty funny performance). The movie had great visual effects on the crocodile and looked very really at the end of the film.

The movie did remind me a bit of Jaws from killer sea creature and the water (even know it was in the lake). It was a really good mystery on where and why the crocodile was at the lake in marine, but was often not really logical nor intelligent kind of movie, but it was quite funny and had decent gore & deaths, it did give me a few jumps and there were two surprise that I really didn't see coming.

All in all it was a funny, slight scary movie and I enjoyed its silliness.
