Review of Lake Placid (1999) by Corey N — 12 Feb 2010
I thought this would have been a cheesy film. But overall this was good movie about a giant killer croc. The movie has a solid cast with Bill Pullman, Brendan Gleeson, Betty White, Oliver Platt and Bridget Fonda.
The movie has a decent story. You get your horror with a few bits of comedy thrown in here and there. I found Oliver Platt and Betty White characters very funny. The F/X of the giant croc was well done.
Sort of plays like a Jaws film but in fresh water. I enjoyed watching this movie. Well worth a watch.
