Review of Lake of Fire (2006) by Katie P — 04 Oct 2008
A very intriguing film that evenly displays both sides of the debate over abortion. It was very real, not watered down nor saturated with shock value, which I liked. It amazes me that people can try to defend people like Michael Griffin and say that murdering Dr. Gunn was justified. Unbelievable. I had a stunned look on my face a few times throughout the movie, and I could tell a most others did too.
As for why I only gave it 4 stars: It went on for much longer than it needed to, I didn't like the way everyone was filmed in an unvarying portrait style, and white text against a white background? Come on, now.
