This is actually a really good horror comedy that never takes itself too seriously, and I think that that is why it succeeds. Lake Dead takes horror cliches and runs with them. If you sit back and be prepared to laugh, you will enjoy this film.
It's no Shaun of the Dead or anything, but it's still better than it should've been.
