Review of Laid to Rest (2009) by Jack S — 26 Nov 2012
Had to look this up after it was featured in Fangoria's Blood and Guts, a YouTube series I'm really into. Any fan of slasher movies needs to see this. It's not perfect but everyone behaves pretty realistically.
The villain is excellent, and the director did an amazing job of making him as menacing as possible in every shot. And oh my, the gore effects are the highlight. They are insane and it's hard to think of anything better that I've ever seen.
A lot of familiar faces in the cast too.
