Review of Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India (2001) by Aleson T — 08 Jun 2007

This is one of my favorites as well. It's a truly moving underdog story of these poor men who play some cricket to save their village from total starvation. It really made me dislike the British for a while. :).

But seriously, Aamir Khan does an excellent job with the part, and I was cheering at the screen the entire last half of the movie.
