Review of Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India (2001) by Samuel R — 18 Dec 2007
The classic underdog story with cute characters, but nothing out of the ordinary. However, as appropriate for a movie about cricket, it's way too long!!! I only watched the second DVD, skipping the first couple hours, and I didn't feel like I missed much of the plot or action.
The second DVD stood on its own and was fun.
