Review of Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India (2001) by Kim B — 24 Feb 2008
Ok, I loved this story. But then, I don't mind the song and dance routines, which, in this case are not woven so well into the story that sometimes you feel like they aren't necessary. But aside from that, the story itself is really good, a serious theme, based on historical relations between the Brits and locals in India during their colonial period there.
Worth watching.
