A grand fantasy adventure from Richard Donner. While OMEN and SUPERMAN are great films, LADYHAWKE is Donner's best in my own humble opinion. Rutger Hauer, Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Broderick, how can you go wrong? Not to mention an excellent supporting cast with Leo McKern, Alfred Molina and John Wood.
A lot of people bitch about the music on this film but it works for me. Beautiful photography too. A contemporary classic.
