I simply adore this movie. I saw it when I was just twelve and I fall in love with it. I'm from Italy and it was partly shot in my county, in a little village called "Castel'Arquato"(near the city of Piacenza), where my grandpa had a house.
It was a time when video-recorder weren't so diffused, nonetheless I bought the vhs and every day I went to a friend of mine to see it. I've seen it so many times (2-3 per day) that I knew it by heart, and when I couldn't see it, I simply "played" it in my head.
I know that there are better movies, but this is the one that marked my life.
