Review of Ladyhawke (1985) by Reginald J — 05 May 2009
Never can get enough of Pfeiffer (Ladyhawke being one of the few film of hers I haven't seen), who looked magnificent. But the trade off was not worth it. Subpar fantasy flick in every aspect. And I could not believe how bad the music is.
I kept waiting for a superimposed Adam Sandburg to come galloping across the screen on a broom stick. Yes, it's an 80s movie, but the score/soundtrack from a lot of other films during that period still hold up, but this score? Good lord.
