Review of Ladyhawke (1985) by Melody C — 19 Dec 2012
A terrific fantasy film set in medieval France wherein a knight and his lady are cursed by an evil bishop--the lady turns into a hawk by day and the knight becomes a wolf by night, and never can the two be together in human form.
Excellent performances by Rutger Hauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Matthew Broderick as well as a fantastic musical score, great fight sequences, and impressive direction.
