Review of Lady Vengeance (2005) by Harry T — 25 May 2008
Haven't seen the preceding two films of this trilogy, but this film was impressive. The range of characters, the darkness and personal torment. Gut-wrenching. Some moments where the dialog felt forced, but that may be due to subtitle translation.
Loved the bizarre Amelie-like metaphysics, and the exceptional care taken by Park to show the complicated ramifications of revenge.
