Review of Lady Vengeance (2005) by Rmichael A — 28 May 2008
The last film in Chan-wook Park's "Revenge" trilogy, "Lady Vengeance" equals the level of disturbing images as its counterparts. While a better film overall than "Mr. Vengeance," this film sacrifices substance for style and just doesn't quite meet the high expectation I had after watching "Oldboy.
" The end of this film, however, has stuck with me and I can't quite shake it. I recommend the trilogy as a whole.
