Review of Lady Vengeance (2005) by Brenda Z — 20 Sep 2009
While I still think Oldboy is the best of the vengeance trilogy, Lady Vengeance is absolutely stunning and beats Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance by a mile -- which, you know, /is/ saying something. Filled more with dark humor than previous installments and every bit as stylized and beautiful as the earlier flicks, Lady Vengeance is a very easy flick to get into.
The ending feels a little bit incomplete for me, but, that's just me I assume.
