Review of Lady Vengeance (2005) by James R — 18 Jun 2010
This being the last movie in Park Chan-wook's vengeance trilogy....definitely was super weird. The basic concept was hard to follow and a lot of times I was left guessing what exactly was happening.
Compared to the last two films theres definitely not as much violence in this one or gore, but during two particular scenes it is pretty graphic. The whole meaning I got out of the film was forgiving ones actions and bringing about revenge on those that betray you.
Overall, it was decent, but some parts were very hard to watch. If you liked Oldboy check it out.
