Review of Lady Vengeance (2005) by Kairu A — 02 Apr 2011
While this film has, I think, a good idea for a plot, the actual result is a bit disappointing. The manner in which the story is told is like a cold reminiscence; you see everything that's happened, but you don't feel yourself pulled into it.
There's no emotional connection. While I enjoy all the references to Park Chan-Wook's other revenge films, this one just feels a little flat and empty.
