Review of Lady Sings the Blues (1972) by Eric-Allen F — 14 Oct 2007
Diana's Performance was riveting. She should have brought home gold for this film. Though she did not win, her ability was reconized and she is to this day a record breaking, superstar! Once again Billy's portrayal of Lady Day's husband Louis McKay was done with just enough class and ruggedness to captivate and give fair warning.
Diana gives you the essence of Billie Holiday and she gives it well!
