Review of Lady Macbeth (2016) by David Stratton for The Australian — 22 Jun 2017
Lady Macbeth was clearly made on a very modest budget, but that very fact enhances its coldly beautiful austerity. It doesn't need all the trappings of the usual romantic melodrama set in this period of history. It's a fine piece of work.
