Review of Lady Jane (1986) by Mya G — 13 Dec 2008
Silly, but tolerable. Bonham Carter's wide-eyed Jane is no longer a powerless political pawn, but an idealistic social reformer who, instead of being trapped in a loveless marriage, forms an unbreakable bond with her equally anachronistically socially conscious husband, played somewhat vacuously by the gorgeous young Elwes.
Silly, but tolerable.
