Review of Lady in White (1988) by Roy C — 12 Aug 2010
Plot:
Locked in a school closet during Halloween 1962, young Frank (Lukas Haas) witnesses the ghost of a young girl and the man who murdered her years ago. Shortly afterward he finds himself stalked by the killer and is soon drawn to an old house where a mysterious Lady In White lives. As he discovers the secret of the woman he soon finds that the killer may be someone close to him.
Review:
The Lady in White turned out to be a highly entertaining mystery film with a great ghost story behind it. Highly comical at times, especially the grandparents, they cracked me up. Great performances from all actors but it was young Lukas Haas that gave an outstanding performance. His character was sweet and lovable.
I recommend this as a nice family film to watch, especially around Halloween. Not gorey at all, maybe a handful of scenes that may scare younger kids, other than that highly enjoyable for both adults and children.
