Review of Lady in the Water (2006) by Derek V — 27 Dec 2009
A major disappointment. Lady in the Water felt more like a gimmick M. Night used to inflate his ego. The story is so silly, it's laughable. Much of the plot makes no sense and it lacks scares. It's basically nothing like his previous films -- even The Village had its moments to shine.
Once again the Trailers of this movie manipulate the public into thinking it's something it really isn't. It looks pretty, though.
