For 2006:
M. Night really misses the mark with this one.
Its too talky and boring.
Sure it tries to take a new spin on mythical storytelling by having a story within a story but that utterly falters.
Dont get me wrong, Bryce Dallas Howard is great in the lead.
Paul Giamatti is ok just not that groundbreaking.
Overall the film is one of his weakest entries and feels rather pretentious and silly.
