Review of Lady in the Water (2006) by Anand K — 27 Aug 2010
Giamatti plays his role well. Byrce was as good as a blank sheet of paper floating around through the scenes. Shyamalan's role should've been shorter.
There was little suspense in this one. I guessed the roles of some of the characters early in the movie. The ending didnt mean anything.
The back-ground score was nothing special. I will not remember the tune after another half hour.
The entire movie was filmed in one compound. There was nothing spectacular in the cinematography.
I wont be recommending this one to anybody because it made no impression on me. I won't think back on this particular story to reflect.
