Review of Lady in the Water (2006) by Connor F — 01 Jun 2013
A child-like tale is brought to life in a way that only a child could ever find deep or effective. The whole movie just plods on in dull fashion without any believably or interesting plot points. The story is preposterous and the fact that everyone takes it so seriously is just laughable.
How a great actor like Paul Giamatti was dragged into this disaster is truly a mystery. Lady in the Water proves M. Night Shyamalan to be a failure not only as a director, but also as an actor.
