Review of Lady Cocoa (1975) by Keenan S — 14 Jul 2013

While the witness protection plot isn't particularly original, Lady Cocoa is a fun film, mostly due to the wonderful performance by the lead actress, Lola Falana who manages to deliver both humor and also have a genuine feel to her performance.

She's a lot of fun to watch when she is on the screen because she is always interesting, though the rest of the cast aren't slackers. This as a whole is quite ridiculous, but it's the fun kind of ridiculous that you can roll with and have a really good time with since there is action, humor, sex, and solid performances.
