Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Ankur B — 28 Dec 2017
Lady Bird is a fresh and unique take on the conventional "coming of age" sub-genre that focuses on the pivotal relationship between a teenager and her mother. Saoirse Ronan is tremendously boisterous and flourishes under the direction of Greta Gerwig.
Lady Bird explores themes of adolescence with a fresh perspective along with having the city of Sacramento as a lovely backdrop. Overall, Lady Bird is a hilarious and poignant film.
