A perfect little film about the life of a teenager in her senior year of high school, on the cusp of adulthood and independence. It examines the relationship between a mother and daughter, who love each other deeply, but don't really like each other.
It's remarkably honest and genuine and emotionally relatable. Also the city of Sacramento is featured prominently and lovingly.
