Lady Bird is a small time masterpiece that redefines the coming of age dramedy in an honest way. I absolutely loved every minute, every aspect of it, and was honestly made uncomfortable half the time by how closely it all hit to home.
The family dynamic, the wealth disparity between Lady Bird and her peers, the uncomfortably close living quarters...it's all perfect. And being a Sacramento native, I recognized every single one of the (non New York) filming locations, which was actually kind of unnerving, seeing this place represented on a big screen.
