I hated this movie. I'm leaving a review because I wish someone had told me not to waste my time, I was fooled by all of this praise. The lead actress is great, the details are well done but the whole movie had no point while being predictable and unoriginal.
This is the type of movie I would usually love - I watched the entire thing hoping for a point. Sadly there wasn't one. Maybe a lesson in bad parenting? My wife wanted to turn it off 12 min and 36 seconds in and I convinced her not to because we hadn't given it a chance.
I was wrong.
