Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Terrance S — 22 Dec 2017
The premise made no sense. Mom is a psychiatric nurse and dad works in the computer industry (until he loses his job toward the end of the movie). They send their daughter to a pricey private Catholic school.
These are proor people who can't come up with $75 for a college application fee? Really? Utter nonsense! While the actors do fine job delivering the dialogue, it was poorly written. I was bored through most of the movie and, if I had been watching it on television, I would have turned it off after 10 minutes and looked for something better to watch.
