Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Ergo F — 23 Dec 2017
Perhaps it is a combination of the facts that I am a woman with a mother with whom I have a relationship and that I attended an all girls catholic school in the 2000's, but everything about his movie just rang true for me.
It's a realistic drama that manages to be both poignant and fun, and it really does deserve all the positive buzz that it has been getting. The only way I could have enjoyed it more is if I had gone to see it with my mother so that we could cry and then argue over it together.
