In Lady Bird, writer-director Greta Gerwig delivers a sweet, if unoriginal coming-of-age film, nicely acted by Saoirse Ronan, and a love letter to Sacramento and Catholic school education. Viewers who like this film should watch the superior Juno (2007) and The Graduate (1967).
