Review of Lady Bird (2017) by H G — 03 Jan 2018
While everyone is talking about the performance of Saoirse as Lady Bird, in my opinion Laurie Metcalf as her mother steals the show. She manages to turn an almost clichà (C)d overbearing mother into a very likeable sympathetic character.
The scene at the airport is Oscar worthy.
