Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Dorian G — 15 Feb 2018
Seemed like it's been done, especially with the recent "Edge of Seventeen," which I thought was a much better film.
The performances are good, Ronan especially, and the supporting cast, other than the mom, who I didn't enjoy, and not just because she was mean, her emotions just didn't do it for me.
Definitely lots of awkward laughs from the interesting and weird situations, and the funny brother character and his girlfriend, but the dramatic narrative could have been paced better, and the ending was kind of anticlimactic.
