Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Ian W — 17 Feb 2018
A superbly acted coming of age drama showing a teen who struggles to escape her mundane existence in a small American town. This doesn't follow the usual clichés you would expect and so is more realistic because of it which works in its favour.
You actually can empathise with the main character as well as her parents who are trying to make sense of it all. Definitely worth watching.
