I love how this movie made me think about my own high school time. I was also a bit weird, if you can call it that and everytime Ronan had a discussion/fight with her mom. I started to think about my own relationship with my own mom.
It's not easy to be a teeanger. So much to think about, do you want to be pretty, populair or are you ok with being 'ordinary'. I still gets goosebumps when I think about the scene when Sonan is yelling at her mom "Please talk to me".
I get why she got the oscar nomination. Just a wonderfull movie. Gedwig did a great job.
