This might as well be my favorite movie of the year. It basically sums up every middle class adolescent girl's transition from childhood to adulthood. The emotion in this movie is so stirring. The direction, writing, and acting makes this movie what it is today.
Gerwig hits a homerun with her directorial debut. Saoirse's acting makes it look like a piece of cake to portray someone like Christine. Laurie stuns in every way possible.
