Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Scooter P — 15 Jan 2018
Instant classic. I've never heard of Saorise Ronan before this movie, but I'm instantly obsessed and need to watch everything she's ever been in. I've always personally identified with coming-of-age movies like this one, and Greta Gerwig does it right.
I remember being young and dreaming of changing my name, hoping that one day I would wake up a completely different person. This film perfectly captures a moment in time that may seem awkward from the outside, but reveals itself to be one of the most important moments in Lady Bird's life.
