Good film, great one liners and Saoirse does a great job as,"lady bird".
Inevitably I am Disappointed.
Maybe my ego wouldn't allow me to like it, but I gave it a fair chance. I trusted the critics. Either they are all payed off or maybe I saw a different movie. I feel like I've seen better coming of age tales in the wonder years.
The 100% "certified fresh", as I had hoped for with such high praise, fell short. The movie made me want more, but was also dull and at times irreverent. With a nuance of dark humor that made for an entertaining yet slow romp. Not for everyone, but it can be charming at times. In my opinion definitely not worthy of 100%.
Toy story 2 was far superior.
