Review of Lady and the Tramp (1955) by Jazzmin M — 22 Aug 2017
Lady and the Tramp is one of those films that has a pretty standard story but the animation and the characters make up for it. The romance between the titular characters is very cute and sweet. The characters themselves are very likable.
Lady is very proper and polite, and a bit naive. and Tramp is suave and cool, and a troublemaker. I love Jock, Trusty, and that Pekingese named Peg. Even Jim Dear and Darling are very likable. And let's not forget those Siamese cats.
The animation is very nice. Such great line work and colors. The songs are good, and the comedy and drama are good as well. It's just a good and charming film. It's one of my favorites from the studio.
It's a classic. While not the most exiting or complex Disney movie, Lady and the Tramp is very cute, charming, and a good film for families to enjoy.
